Spun paper balls are great DIY craft materials. They can be painted and/or decorated with glitter, fabric, trims, ribbons, crepe paper, and more. They take glue and paint really well, and are easy to use.

The 6 mm size is a tiny size, perfect to make artificial berry stems, holly berry clusters, crepe paper flower pistils, stamens and more.

 

What are the balls made of ?

The balls are made of pure cellulose paper: a very soft and thin paper that comes in rolls. It is very similar to tissue paper.  The paper is spun around an axle until it creates a firm and solid ball. Each ball has a little hole on one side due to the fabrication process.

Spun Paper balls are responsible alternatives to plastic and polystyrene balls.
